There are 3 types.
Vinyl pools are by far the most expensive pool type, which takes only about 4-8 weeks to set up. They are well-known for their flexibility and smooth surface. However, they can be easily damaged, so they will last for a lesser time. They should be replaced every 5 to 9 years.
Fiberglass pools are easy to set up and require only minimal maintenance. They can usually be installed in as short as three weeks. These pools can be built from one piece and are thus less customizable. There are many options of different shapes and features. Fiberglass pools can last for years and are usually insured by warranties that last up into 20-30 years.
Concrete pools are sometimes referred to shotcrete or gunite pools. They’re by far one of the most well-known types of inground swimming pool. They can be constructed to accommodate any size space which is why they’re ideal for larger yards. They do take a considerable time to install, and they require a lot of maintenance.
Before you install an in-ground pool, ensure you investigate your options so that you’re able to select the right pool type for your needs.
